Have only got two minutes so this will be quick. Will probably not post anything until Monday b/c we have so many things planned in the next three days. Here is a run down of activities:
1. Friday - hike to higher altitudes than I have ever been outside of a plane. Hope that I do not pass out from the thin air. Also hope that I am not the hiker that sets the group back because I am the slow one.
2. Saturday -- Peruvian wedding. Wedding starts at 2pm. They do the church first, then go to the government office to make it legal and then on to the reception with dancing, beers, pisco sours, and lots of food!
3. Sunday -- Festival. The town all celbrates with a bull fight that does not end in the murder of bulls but is just drunk men running around trying not to get hurt. The kids will be throwing water on everyone and we will all be drinking and dancing.
Plus, it is our host parents (I use this term lightly as I just found out that Ana is only 33 and Celestino is 35 so it is not biologically possible for them to be parents to me, more like siblings) anniversary on Sunday. We are thinking there is cuy (guinea pig) in our future!
